chapter 10-the Marauder's map

So Harry finds a way to sneak into Honeydukes and he finds Ron and Hermione and tells them about the map.  Of course Hermione is always the party pooper and doesn't think Harry should have the map because of Sirius Black but in all honesty I think Hermione just needs to relax nothing bad is going to happen.

Ok so after Harr's mishap at the Qudditch game Harry goes to lupin and asks for help about how to fight off Dementors. Lupin explains how Dementors work and why they guard Azkaban.  I find it fascinating!

Basically in this chapter I understood the meaning of the name for the chapter.  In the Quidditch match Harry sees a giant black dog-like cloud and then notices that there are hundreds of Dementors around him and he falls off his broom.  I think I would be terrified to come across a Dementor myself.

Alright so Harry and the rest of the school are in the great hall trying to stay clear of Sirius Black.  Mcgonoulgal takes Harry aside just to tell him what he already knows: that Sirius is after him.  I love that Harry is one step ahead of everybody! :)

So after the halloween feast all the Gryfindors come back to the common room and the fat lady won't let them in...thats because the fat lady isn't there.  Peeves tells Dumbledore that Sirius Black is in the castle and the fat lady wouldn't let him in.  I can't believe filch doesn't know ALL the secret passages to get in and out of Hogwarts!

Harry, Ron and Hermione are in divinations class and they are asked to read tea leaves.  Harry gets the grim which is an omen of death which is funny because his godfather is an animaigus (he can change into an animal) I love harry potter because it all is one big puzzle that you have to put together.

Harry finally gets to Hogwarts and as soon as he gets there, professor Mcgonagal asks to have a word with him and Hermione she asks him if he'd like to stay in the hospital wing for the night and he says no because he could stand Malfoy's torment in the morning.  I think Harry should just beat Malfoy up.  He totally deserves it, Malfoys just scum.

chapter 5-The Dementor

Harry was on the Hogwarts express and he was just minding his own business and all of the sudden the train stops and they come across a Dementor.  Harry fainted and lupin apparently rescued them.  Of course I know that it effected Harry the most because he's experienced the worst stuff out of all of them.

Ok so Harry over hears Mr. and Mrs. weasley talking about how crazy Sirius Black is and Harry understands perfectly well how capable he is.  Everybody thinks that Harry is going to go looking for black but he's soooooooooooo not...for now.  Oh the irony of it.

Alright so basically Ron, Harry and Hermione go into the magical creature shop so Hermione can buy an owl but she ends up with Crookshanks, a ginger colored cat.  Then they go back to the Leaky Cauldron and get ready for dinner. After that Harry is going down to the dining room to get stuff for Ron when he over hears mr. and mrs. weasley talking.
