chapter 5-the accident

David is explaining how he got used to being his mother's slave and the normal punishments he would receive.  This chapter is about one day when his mom wanted him to clean the dishes she'd threaten to kill him if he didn't apperently she got tired of her not doing anything and decided to stab him.  after she cleaned his wound and still made him do the dishes.  This woman is sick.

chapter 4-the fight for food

David describes the incidents of getting caught stealing food or begging for food from neighbors.  His mother would make him throw up and eat it.  His father began to just sit back and watch.  All of these events are just so horrible you can't even imagine it.  I feel so bad for this kid!

chapter 4-the fight for food

David is talking about how his mother refused to feed him for days and how he would steal food from other kids' lunchboxes before school.  He always got caught though and his principal called his mother which meant more beatings.  This book is absolutey crazy! it's so interesting but disturbing at the same time!

Alice continues talking to humpty dumpty about poems and words and everything like that and she keeps talking to him for some reason i don't know why though because he's really rude!!!!

chapter 6-humpty dumpty

Alice is swimming on the banks with a sheep in a boat and then they go back to his shop and alice asks to buy an egg then the egg turns into humpty dumpty and it turns out he's very easily offended, and really rude and he's very argumentative!

chapter 5-wool and water

Alice leaves the twins and finds the white queen and she's talking to her about living backwards in other words remembering things before they happen.  Alice doesn't quite understand but it seems she doesn't understand anything in wonderland!!! she's kind of stupid if you think about it.

chapter 4-tweedledum and tweedledee

Alice walks out of the wood with all the insects in it and comes across the wood where tweedledee and tweedledum live.  They start talking to her and then they start dancing together.  After they tell alice the famous story of the carpenter and the walrus.

chapter 3-the looking-glass insects

Alice leaves the queen after playing chess with her and then finds herself talking to all these insects one in particular: the Gnat.  He is telling her about all the different kinds of insects and what they live on. For example the bread-and-butterfly which lives on weak tea with cream in it.  I thought this part was really cute :)

chapter 1-looking-glass house

Alice is still talking to her kitten and she wishes there was a looking-glass house and you could just run through a looking-glass and get there.  And she did! so Alice is in the house and she reads the poem the white king wrote about the jabberwock which was kind of confusing but whatever.
